Évreux’daki Théâtre Legendre restorasyon sonrası çağdaş bir kimlik kazanıyor

Évreux'da OPUS 5 architectes, 1903 tarihli Beaux-Arts üslubundaki Théâtre Legendre'yi yeniden işlevlendirdi. Restorasyon süreci, tuğla ve silex kaplamaların özgün oranlarını geri kazandırırken yapının tarihsel kimliğini okunur kılıyor. Güneyde konumlanan cam lobi, geriye çekilen ek kütle ile tarihi yapı arasında şeffaf bir ara mekân oluşturuyor.


Üç metal köprü, prova alanları ve soyunma odalarını barındıran yeni ek yapıyı tiyatro salonuyla doğrudan bağlıyor. Sahne arkasında tasarlanan geniş hacim, dekor taşınmasına olanak tanıyor ve sahne derinliğini artırıyor. Lobide kullanılan yansıtıcı duvar yüzeyi ise mevcut cephe dokusunu mekâna aktararak, tarihi ile çağdaş olan arasında görsel bir süreklilik kuruyor.

The Théâtre Legendre in Évreux is gaining a contemporary identity following restoration


In Évreux, OPUS 5 architectes has repurposed the 1903 Beaux-Arts style Théâtre Legendre. The restoration process has restored the original proportions of the brick and silex cladding while preserving the building's historical identity. The glass lobby located to the south creates a transparent intermediate space between the historic structure and the recessed extension.
Three metal bridges directly connect the new extension, which houses rehearsal areas and dressing rooms, to the theatre hall. The spacious volume designed behind the stage allows for the movement of sets and increases the stage depth. The reflective wall surface used in the lobby transfers the existing façade texture to the space, creating a visual continuity between the historical and contemporary elements.
