Troca Troca projesi renkli Volkswagen Beetle ile dikkat çekiyor

Jarbas Lopes'un 2002 tarihli “Troca Troca" projesi, üç Volkswagen Beetle'ın gövde panellerini değiştirerek yeni bir düzen kurguluyor. Sarı, mavi ve kırmızı yüzeyler farklı kombinasyonlarla bir araya gelerek dinamik bir renk dengesi oluşturuyor. Araçların içine entegre edilen ortak ses sistemi, yolculuğu kolektif bir deneyime dönüştürüyor.


Sanatçı, gündelik nesneyi heykel, enstalasyon ve performans arasındaki geçişken bir alana taşıyor. Bu yaklaşım, izleyiciyi hem görsel hem işitsel boyutta sürece dahil ediyor. Çalışma, işlevsel sınırların ötesine geçerek kent içinde hareket eden bir enstalasyon niteliği kazanıyor.

Jarbas Lopes's 2002 project 'Troca Troca' creates a new arrangement by swapping the body panels of three Volkswagen Beetles. Yellow, blue, and red surfaces come together in different combinations to form a dynamic colour balance. The shared sound system integrated into the vehicles transforms the journey into a collective experience.


The artist moves the everyday object into a transitional space between sculpture, installation and performance. This approach involves the viewer in the process on both a visual and auditory level. The work transcends functional boundaries, taking on the quality of an installation moving within the city.
