Siam Square’deki yeni otel, geleneksel Tay mimari öğelerini cephe tasarımına taşıyor

Bangkok'un Siam Square'de açılan tasarım oteli, cephesinde geleneksel Tay mimari motiflerine yer veriyor. Tasarımda, Tay evlerinde görülen oyma detaylı Pun-Lom öğesi kullanılıyor ve cephe paslanmaz çelik zincirlerle tamamlanarak geçmişte kullanılan cibinliklere gönderme yapıyor. Ülkenin kültürel renklerinden esinlenen canlı bir paletin kullanıldığı iç mekânda, lobi turuncu çakıl formundaki resepsiyon masasıyla dikkat çekiyor. Galeri açıklığı ise üst kattaki ortak alanla görsel süreklilik sağlıyor. Arka bölümde yer alan havuz, renk ve desenlerle hareketlenen tasarımın içinde dingin bir atmosfer oluşturuyor. Katlarda farklı renklerle tanımlanan asansör holleri ve odalara yaklaşırken yumuşayan tonlar, otel içindeki mekânsal geçişleri aşamalı bir deneyime dönüştürüyor.

The design hotel that opened in Bangkok's Siam Square features traditional Thai architectural motifs on its facade. The design incorporates the Pun-Lom element, seen in Thai homes, with carved details, and the facade is completed with stainless steel chains, referencing the mosquito nets used in the past. The interior, which uses a vibrant palette inspired by the country's cultural colors, features a lobby reception desk shaped like orange pebbles. The gallery opening provides visual continuity with the common area on the upper floor. The pool in the rear section creates a tranquil atmosphere within the design, which is enlivened by colors and patterns. On each floor, the elevator lobbies are defined by different colors. As the tones gradually soften toward the rooms, the spatial transitions within the hotel become a layered experience
