Portekiz’de barok şapelli tarihi çiftlik günümüzde nasıl kullanılıyor?

Quinta de Velude, Correia/Ragazzi Arquitectos tarafından 2023 yılında Portekiz'in Cinfães bölgesinde yeniden işlevlendiriliyor. Douro Nehri'ne bakan yamaçta konumlanan yapı, barok şapeli ve özgün mekânsal kurgusuyla öne çıkıyor. Restorasyon sürecinde ardışık oda düzeni ve geleneksel malzeme kullanımı korunuyor, çağdaş konfor ihtiyaçlarını karşılayan çözümler entegre ediliyor.


Elektrik ve ısıtma altyapısı, mevcut dokuya zarar vermeden duvar dışı ve tavan içi sistemlerle çözümleniyor. Alt kat mekânları, özgün karakterlerini koruyacak şekilde yaşam alanlarına dönüşüyor, geri dönüştürülmüş granit ve kestane ağacı yapısal unsurlarda yeniden değerlendiriliyor. Böylece proje, tarihi kimlik ve yerel bilgi ile çağdaş kullanım arasında dengeli bir ilişki kuruyor.

How is a historic farmhouse with a Baroque chapel used today in Portugal?


Quinta de Velude is being repurposed in 2023 by Correia/Ragazzi Arquitectos in the Cinfães region of Portugal. Located on a hillside overlooking the Douro River, the building stands out for its Baroque chapel and original spatial design. The restoration process preserves the sequential room layout and traditional materials, integrating solutions that meet contemporary comfort needs.


The electrical and heating infrastructure is being resolved with external wall and ceiling-mounted systems that do not damage the existing fabric. The ground floor spaces are being transformed into living areas while retaining their original character, with recycled granite and chestnut wood being reused in structural elements. Thus, the project establishes a balanced relationship between historical identity and local knowledge on one hand, and contemporary use on the other.
