Numen/For Use tarafından tasarlanan enstalasyon: Net Taichung ve String Taichung

Numen/For Use tarafından CMP Inspiration Museum için tasarlanan Net Taichung ve String Taichung enstalasyonları, Kengo Kuma'nın mimari diliyle uyum içinde, mekâna özel olarak kurgulandı. Her iki yapı da, yalnızca gerilerek taşıyıcılık kazanan ip ve ağ sistemlerine dayanıyor; bu sayede ek bir destek yapısına ihtiyaç duymadan kendi mekânsal bütünlüğünü kuruyor.


Net Taichung, bedensel hareket, denge ve keşif gibi eylemlerle kullanıcıyı aktif katılıma yönlendiriyor. String Taichung ise, üç boyutlu ip örgüsü ve ışığı difüz eden yarı saydam kabuğuyla daha dingin ve içe dönük bir deneyim sunuyor. Bu geçirgen zar, iç mekâna yumuşak ve yapay bir ışık yayıyor; ölçek ve yönelime dair kasıtlı belirsizlikle birlikte mekânsal sınırları muğlaklaştırıyor. Sökülüp yeniden kurulabilen bu sistem, geçici ve taşınabilir mekân üretiminde alternatif bir yaklaşım ortaya koyuyor.

Designed by Numen/For Use for the CMP Inspiration Museum, the Net Taichung and String Taichung installations were conceived specifically for the space, in harmony with Kengo Kuma's architectural language. Both structures rely solely on rope and net systems that gain their load-bearing capacity through tension, thereby establishing their own spatial integrity without the need for additional support structures.


Net Taichung encourages active participation by engaging users in physical movement, balance, and exploration. String Taichung, on the other hand, offers a more serene and introspective experience through its three-dimensional rope weave and semi-transparent shell that diffuses light. This translucent membrane diffuses soft, artificial light into the interior space, blurring spatial boundaries through deliberate ambiguity in scale and orientation. This system, which can be dismantled and reassembled, presents an alternative approach to the production of temporary and portable spaces.
