Kırsal konuta çağdaş bir eklenti: Malvern Pool House

Klas Hyllén Architecture @klashyllenarchitecture tarafından tasarlanan Malvern Pool House, Warwickshire kırsalında, mevcut konut yapısına eklemlenen iki kütleden oluşan bir eklenti olarak konumlanıyor. Yapı, ana hacimde yüzme havuzu ve dinlenme alanlarını, ikincil hacimde ise duş, soyunma ve meditasyon birimlerini içeriyor. Kiremit tonlarında kil tuğla ile inşa edilen yapı kütleleri, açık alanlarla ilişkili bir yerleşim düzeni oluşturuyor.


Eğik tavanlı ana mekânda yer alan uzun çatı penceresi, gün ışığının iç mekâna kontrollü biçimde alınmasını sağlıyor. Teknik donanım unsurları, servis hacimlerinde ve çatı sisteminde gizlenerek yapısal açıklıkta müdahalesiz bir görünüm oluşturuyor. Yüksek yalıtım kalınlıklarına sahip hava geçirmez kabuk sistemiyle yapı, enerji verimliliği ve iç mekân konforu açısından optimize ediliyor.

Designed by Klas Hyllén Architecture, the Malvern Pool House is located in the Warwickshire countryside as an extension consisting of two volumes added to the existing residential structure. The building contains a swimming pool and relaxation areas in the main volume and shower, changing, and meditation units in the secondary volume. Constructed from clay bricks in terracotta tones, the building volumes create a layout that relates to the open spaces.


The long roof window in the sloped-ceilinged main space allows daylight to enter the interior in a controlled manner. Technical equipment elements are concealed within service volumes and the roof system, creating an uninterrupted structural appearance. With its airtight shell system featuring high insulation thicknesses, the structure is optimised for energy efficiency and interior comfort.
