İtalya vadisinde gerçekleştirilen etkili renovasyon: Lottano Evi

Lottano Evi, İtalya'nın Chiavenna vadisindeki Lottano köyünde, terk edilmiş dağ yerleşimlerinin yeniden işlevlendirilmesi kapsamında Emanuele Scaramellini tarafından tasarlanıyor. 2024 yılında hayata geçirilen projede, mevcut taş yapının taşıyıcı kabuğu korunarak, çürümüş ahşap elemanların yerine kullanılan metal strüktür ile yapısal bütünlük yeniden sağlanıyor.


Komşu hasarlı yapı, aynı ayak izinde ve ölçülerde, ahşap bir kütle olarak çağdaş bir yorumla yeniden inşa ediliyor; malzeme farkı sayesinde yeni ile eski açık biçimde ayrışıyor. Güney cephesini boydan boya kesen geniş cam açıklık, hem mevcut çatlağı tanımlıyor hem de iç mekân ile doğal peyzaj arasında görsel bir süreklilik kuruyor. Kat planı, her seviyede tek bir işleve sahip odalarla sade ve dikey bir yaşam kurgusu sunuyor. Projede kullanılan metal elemanlar, taşıyıcı sistemden sabit mobilyaya kadar tüm bileşenlerde işlevselliği vurgulayan teknik bir bütünlük sağlıyor.

Lottano House, located in the village of Lottano in Italy's Chiavenna Valley, is being designed by Emanuele Scaramellini as part of a project to repurpose abandoned mountain settlements. Completed in 2024, the project preserves the existing stone structure's load-bearing shell while restoring structural integrity by replacing decayed wooden elements with a metal structure.


The adjacent damaged structure is being rebuilt as a contemporary interpretation of a wooden mass, following the same footprint and dimensions; the difference in materials clearly distinguishes the new from the old. A large glass opening spanning the entire south facade both defines the existing crack and establishes a visual continuity between the interior space and the natural landscape. The floor plan offers a simple and vertical living arrangement with rooms dedicated to a single function on each level. The metal elements used in the project provide technical integrity that emphasises functionality in all components, from the load-bearing system to the fixed furniture.
