Circo Aéreo, CO₂ sorununu kamusal alanda görünür kılmak için tasarlanıyor

Circo Aéreo, KOGAA tarafından 2020 yılında Logroño'da geçici bir kamusal enstalasyon olarak tasarlanıyor. Proje, kullanılmayan kentsel boşlukların alternatif işlevlerle yeniden değerlendirilmesini odağına alıyor. Dört metre yüksekliğindeki şişirilebilir halka, gündüz gölge sağlayan, akşamları ise projeksiyon yüzeyi ve ışık kaynağı olarak kullanılan çok amaçlı bir mekânsal eleman oluşturuyor.


Halka formu, bir tonluk CO₂ hacmini temsil ederek kentlerdeki karbon salınımına görsel bir referans sunuyor. Alt bölümde yer alan amfitiyatro, hem strüktürel taşıyıcı hem de etkinlikler için oturma alanı işlevini üstleniyor. Geri dönüştürülmüş malzemelerden elde edilen enstalasyon, mekâna çevresel duyarlılık ve kullanıcı katılımı perspektifinden yeni bir kamusal deneyim kazandırıyor.

Circo Aéreo is designed to make the CO₂ issue visible in public spaces


Circo Aéreo is designed by KOGAA as a temporary public installation in Logroño in 2020. The project focuses on re-evaluating unused urban spaces with alternative functions. The four-metre-high inflatable ring creates a multi-purpose spatial element that provides shade during the day and serves as a projection surface and light source in the evening.


The ring form represents a tonne of CO₂ volume, providing a visual reference to carbon emissions in cities. The amphitheatre located in the lower section serves both as a structural support and a seating area for events. Made from recycled materials, the installation brings a new public experience to the space from the perspective of environmental awareness and user participation.
