Belçika’da 400 metrelik yüzer köprü bisiklet ağına katıldı 🚴🏻‍♂️

Belçika'nın Dilsen-Stokkem ve Maasmechelen sınırında yer alan 400 metre uzunluğundaki yüzer köprü, bölgenin madencilik geçmişinden kalan terriller arasında bir bağlantı kuruyor. BuroLandschap tarafından tasarlanan yapı, Limburg'daki bisiklet yol ağına entegre edilerek önemli bir geçiş noktası işlevi görüyor. Altın oran prensiplerinden esinlenen kavisli form, köprünün manzara ile uyumunu güçlendiriyor.


Köprü, 30 menteşeli pontondan oluşan modüler sistemi sayesinde su seviyesindeki 130 santimetreye kadar değişimlere uyum sağlayabiliyor. Bu yapısal esneklik, köprünün farklı çevresel koşullarda güvenli biçimde kullanılmasına olanak tanıyor. Proje, 2024 yılında tamamlanarak bölge için yeni bir kamusal altyapı öğesi haline geliyor.

The 400-metre-long floating bridge located on the border of Dilsen-Stokkem and Maasmechelen in Belgium connects the terrils left behind from the region's mining history. Designed by BuroLandschap, the structure serves as an important crossing point, integrated into Limburg's cycle path network. The curved form, inspired by the golden ratio principle, enhances the bridge's harmony with the landscape.


Thanks to its modular system consisting of 30 hinged pontoons, the bridge can adapt to water level changes of up to 130 centimetres. This structural flexibility allows the bridge to be used safely in different environmental conditions. Completed in 2024, the project has become a new piece of public infrastructure for the area.
