Araç trafiğinin ortasında kamusal bir hamam yapısı

Round About Baths, 2025 yılında Logroño'da Leopold Banchini Architects tarafından geçici bir kamusal yapı olarak tasarlanıyor. Proje, araç trafiğiyle çevrili ve işlevsiz hale gelmiş bir çeşmeyi, kentsel hijyen ve kolektif deneyim alanı olarak yeniden yorumluyor. Soyunma odaları, buhar odaları ve soğuk su çeşmelerinden oluşan kurgusu, kent merkezinde mahremiyet ile kamusallığı bir araya getiriyor. @leopoldbanchini


Düzenli bir ahşap iskelet üzerinde yükselen yapı, geçici kullanım için ahşap panellerle çevreleniyor. Festivalin ardından paneller yeniden kullanıldığında, mekân yalnızca hafızada ve kamusal alan tahayyülünde varlığını sürdürüyor. Round About Baths, araç odaklı kentsel bağlamda kamusal mekânın potansiyelini görünür kılan deneysel bir müdahale niteliği taşıyor.

A public bathhouse structure in the middle of vehicle traffic


Round About Baths is being designed by Leopold Banchini Architects as a temporary public structure in Logroño in 2025. The project reinterprets a fountain surrounded by vehicle traffic and rendered obsolete, transforming it into a space for urban hygiene and collective experience. Its design, featuring changing rooms, steam rooms, and cold water fountains, brings together privacy and public space in the city centre.


Rising on a regular wooden skeleton, the structure is surrounded by wooden panels for temporary use. After the festival, when the panels are reused, the space continues to exist only in memory and in the imagination of public space. Round About Baths is an experimental intervention that reveals the potential of public space in a vehicle-oriented urban context.
